| ALL SPECIES KINSHIP: DIRECT-OUTREACH ANIMAL PROTECTION |
| A.S.K. doesn't wait for the phone to ring with concerned pleas to help animals. A.S.K. recognizes that the majority of animals in greatest need are hidden in backyards, in inner-city neighborhoods, where an array of societal problems are present. Most times pet guardians don't even realize that their pet's quality of life could be better, and few people want to ask for help. These animals are waiting and depending on A.S.K. (and YOU!) to find them. A.S.K. is here to work with community members and pet guardians to enhance the quality of companion animal lives and to ensure local law enforcement of animal welfare ordinances to the benefit of ALL. THE FOCUS: 24/7 CHAINED DOGS A.S.K. targets inner-city neighborhoods throughout Calhoun County, MI, driving up and down streets in search of chained dogs. When guardians refuse to make their dog's inside companions or are unwilling to re-home their dog, A.S.K. acts to change poor conditions. A.S.K. offers:
Each home/dog visited is followed-up with throughout the fall and winter months. This repetitive method allows A.S.K. to monitor dog's status and quality of care. Frequent visits allow A.S.K. to show hands-on compassion to plant seeds of change in pet guardians. |

| Instead of asking "why" people provide sub par animal care, A.S.K. works to change conditions on-site while educating pet guardians. These kind actions make the WORLD of difference to the animals we reach. Learn how to report animal abuse and see what we see here |
